  • The only monument to a doctor in Washington D.C. is a memorial to Samuel Hahnemann the Father of Homeopathy.
  • Homeopathy is based the law of similars, a concept that was known as far back as the 4th century B.C. when Hippocrates wrote, “Through the like, disease is produced, and through the application of the like, it is cured.”
  • The American Institute of Homeopathy was founded in 1844 and is the oldest still existing medical organization in the U.S.

  • Leptospirosis is a major disease during flooding season in Cuba. In 2007, the Finlay Institute administered homeoprophylaxis to 2.4 million people in the highest risk areas. Only 10 cases and no deaths while cases of leptospirosis rose in other areas of Cuba. And the cost? $200,000 for the homeoprophylaxis while the conventional vaccinations and drugs usually cost over $2 million.

Papers on their method of treatment have been published in the International Journal of Oncology and they have collaborated research with The University of Texas M D Anderson Cancer Center.
